Hi! I'm Teacher Mala
I am a passionate teacher, author, and education advocate,
I am on a mission to transform children's learning experiences and help them reach their full potential—one focused learner at a time.
An Indian born in the Philippines and raised in Manila, Jakarta, and Singapore. I was quiet and struggled academically. However, with my father's guidance, I developed strong study habits and learned to stay focused, which helped me improve my grades.

1975
- Moved from Manila to Jakarta, where I completed grade school.
- Adjusted to a new learning environment and a new language.
- Transitioned to the British educational system and faced academic challenges.
- With my father’s guidance, I developed focus and study habits that helped me adapt and excel.
1980
- My family moved from Jakarta to Singapore, where I struggled to adjust, especially in a Chinese school.
- Imagine coming home with C’s, D’s, and F’s—that was me.
- My parents and school principal were deeply concerned.
- My father took charge, teaching me how to focus and build strong study habits.
- The result? I graduated high school with the Best Progressive Award and earned a 4-year scholarship.
1984
- My family moved from Jakarta to Singapore, where I struggled to adjust, especially in a Chinese school.
- Had to transition to the American educational system.
- Moved from Singapore back to Manila and had to adapt again.
- I applied everything my dad taught me about focus and discipline this time.
- I made great friends who helped me through college.
- In 1988, I graduated with a degree in A.B. Economics.
2003 - Present
- Began teaching at Esteban International School (now Australian International School).
- Pursued a Teacher's Certificate Program at De La Salle University to deepen my expertise.
- In 2005, I opened a franchise educational center, but in 2008, I transformed it into my tutorial center, focusing on personalized learning.
With God’s grace, I have been able to achieve the following:
